S.O.A.R. Traits

At Fremont, our goal is to provide positive behavior intervention and supports, which you may hear called PBIS. Part of this framework for behavior includes teaching students our core character values, which are represented with the word SOAR, because we know every Fremont Falcon can truly soar! 

S - Safe: I can show safe behavior. I can help keep our school clean. I can control my body and voice. 

O - Outstanding Learner: I can listen and follow directions quickly. I can work hard and give my best effort. I can control my body and voice. 

A - Always Respectful: I can use kind, encouraging, and polite words with all people. I can use my manners. I can control my emotions. 

R - Responsible: I can pay attention to myself and others in my space. I can follow school and classroom rules, procedures, and expectations. I can do the right thing even when no one is looking.
